Small Groups
Jesus demonstrated the importance of "small groups" by forming one Himself and spending three years with these privileged disciples. Obviously Jesus knew what He was doing when He formed such a group. These very individuals eventually went out and trained others to do likewise.
Through Small Groups, we’ve developed meaningful and vital relationships with others as we’ve become a living example of the “body of Christ”. Small groups help us to enhance friendships, provide care to one another and understand God’s Word.
Savoy UMC small groups help us:
Enhance Friendships: On a regular basis, many among the church family meet together in a small group to develop closer and more meaningful relationships with others.
Provide Care: The friendships that are formed in a small group provide opportunities to receive and give care to others when a crisis occurs, such as sickness or death in your family. The ministry of care is a special way to provide support to one another.
Life-changing Bible Study: Small groups give others a chance to ask questions and receive personalized applications of Biblical truths. These groups provide personal support, feedback, and encouragement in studying God's Word.
