At Savoy UMC sites, you can  subscribe to one of our services such as our online newsletters, or to view our committee meetings and notes as well as give online donations to the church. When you register, we collect and store some or all of the following information that you provide: name, address, email address, telephone number, credit card number and expiration date. This information is used to provide the services you have requested.  Some of this information also may be used to contact you about events and news happening at Savoy UMC or contact you with any questions.

3. ANONYMOUS INFORMATION

Through your use of the Sites, we may also gather certain information that does not identify you individually ("Anonymous Information"). Generally, this information is collected through "traffic data". We collect and store certain other information automatically whenever you interact with the Sites. The Sites may contain links to other websites operated by The Rock Church, its affiliates, or third parties. The practices described in this Privacy Policy do not apply to information gathered through these other websites. These other sites may also send their own cookies to you, collect your data or solicit your personal information. We are not responsible for the actions and privacy policies of third parties and other websites. Be aware of when you leave the Sites and read the privacy policies of each and every website you visit.

 

9. PUBLIC AREAS

Please remember that any information you share in public areas, such as message boards or feedback sections, becomes public, and therefore this Privacy Policy does not apply to any information you choose to make public. Use common sense about what you disclose and do not post any Personal Information that you expect to keep private.

10. REFUNDS

No refunds are allowed when a contribution is made through Savoy United Methodist Church's online giving process.

This policy shall be governed by and construed and enforced in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, excluding its laws relating to conflicts of law.
