The Savoy United Methodist Church Privacy and Security Policy ("Privacy Policy") below are applicable to this website and others located at the savoyumc.org domain and affiliated domains ("Sites") produced and maintained by Savoy United Methodist Church (collectively "Savoy UMC" or "we", "us", or "our"). The information we collect and store depends almost entirely on how you choose to make use of the Sites and its related features and services.

At Savoy UMC sites, you can  subscribe to one of our services such as our online newsletters, or to view our committee meetings and notes as well as give online donations to the church. When you register, we collect and store some or all of the following information that you provide: name, address, email address, telephone number, credit card number and expiration date. This information is used to provide the services you have requested.  Some of this information also may be used to contact you about events and news happening at Savoy UMC or contact you with any questions.

Through your use of the Sites, we may also gather certain information that does not identify you individually ("Anonymous Information"). Generally, this information is collected through "traffic data". We collect and store certain other information automatically whenever you interact with the Sites. This information is used to analyze and improve the Sites and to provide our users with a fulfilling experience.

Personal Information collected by the Sites is stored in secure operating environments that are not available to the public. Only those employees who need access to your Personal Information to do their jobs are allowed access. Any employee who violates our privacy and/or security policies is subject to disciplinary action, including possible termination and civil and/or criminal prosecution.

The Sites may contain links to other websites operated by The Rock Church, its affiliates, or third parties. We are not responsible for the actions and privacy policies of third parties and other websites. Be aware of when you leave the Sites and read the privacy policies of each and every website you visit.

 

9. PUBLIC AREAS

Please remember that any information you share in public areas, such as message boards or feedback sections, becomes public, and therefore this Privacy Policy does not apply to any information you choose to make public. Use common sense about what you disclose and do not post any Personal Information that you expect to keep private.

No refunds are allowed when a contribution is made through Savoy United Methodist Church's online giving process.
